The closest international airport is Warsaw Chopin Airport which is located 11 km from the city centre. To reach the city centre from the airport, you can either take a suburban train or a bus. There are also taxis available outside the arrivals terminal. Details on how to access the city from the airport can be found here.

To reach the conference venue (University of Warsaw Main Campus) from Warsaw Chopin Airport by public transport take the bus nr 175 and get off at the stop ‘Uniwersytet 02’. The route takes about 35-45 minutes depending on the traffic. You will need to buy a 75 minutes bus ticket which costs 4.40 PLN ( approx 1 EUR) and can be purchased in a vending machine on the bus. 

If you arrive at the Warsaw-Modlin Airport, you can take a shuttle bus and a train to reach the city centre. Since the airport is located 40 km from the centre of Warsaw, the journey may take  60-90 minutes depending on the traffic. If you arrive by train, you need to get off at the Warsaw Central Railway Station, which is located at the very centre of the city (about 20-25 minutes walking distance from the conference venue). To reach the conference venue you can take bus no 175, 128 or 178 or you can use metro line – M2. 

In case of train Berlin – Warsaw, you need to get off at Warszawa Gdanska Railway Station (about 36-minutes walking distance form the conference venue). To reach the conference venue you can take bus no 518, 116 or use metr line 0 M1.
